At NEXGEN, we believe confidence should come from evidence—not marketing buzzwords. That is why the NEXGEN mattress was subjected to controlled laboratory durability testing, measuring how its height, hardness and firmness changed after extended simulated use.
Testing was conducted by Joyce Foam Products using a mattress durability tester in accordance with European Standard EN 1957:2013-01. The mattress completed 30,000 rollator cycles, representing approximately 8–10 years of average mattress use, before being allowed to recover and undergo final performance measurements.
The results showed remarkable consistency. After the full testing process, the mattress recorded a total height reduction of just 6.1 mm—or 2.2%. Hardness changed by only 0.1 N/mm, equivalent to 2.3%, while the firmness rating shifted by just 0.3, from 8.2 to 8.5. These small changes demonstrate how effectively the mattress retained its original support characteristics after prolonged simulated use.
