When you choose a mattress, you choose it for how it feels today. But the real measure of a great mattress is how it performs years from now. At NEXGEN, long-term comfort and support have been at the centre of our development process, leading to the creation of our Platinum mattress and the continued refinement of our Deluxe Silver range.
The journey began with a customer who needed exceptional support and durability. We designed a mattress with an incredibly strong and stable foundation, and more than a year later, the feedback was clear: the support was still outstanding. From there, our next challenge was to maintain that same confidence-inspiring support while creating a mattress comfortable enough to suit a wide range of sleepers.
Working closely with Joyce Foam Products, our foam supplier and development partner, we refined the comfort layers, studied how different foams performed over time, listened to customer feedback and improved the internal construction, including replacing the polyester internal stocking with cotton. Each change had one purpose: to build a mattress that continues to feel like the one you chose in the showroom.
Independent durability testing simulated approximately 8–10 years of regular use with a 140 kg test roller over 30,000 cycles. The result was only 6.1 mm of height loss and just 2.3% hardness change. To us, that is what durability really means — not simply lasting, but continuing to deliver the comfort and support you loved from day one.
